Technical Support Engineer - Taiwan

The Technical-Support Engineer - Taiwan will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilties:

  • Performing support activities such as On site support, equipment demos, field trials, equipment installation and commissioning supervision, management application support, operation of Alvarion equipment in conjunction with other networking equipment.
  • Technical, post-sales training on Alvarion equipment and relevant technologies to Alvarion customers and distributors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in data communications or electronics.
  • Deep knowledge in computer communications, LAN, core protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet), understanding in radio systems, radio modulations (GFSK, OFDM etc.), antennas, measurement equipment for computers and radio systems.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Advantage to candidates certified by known communications companies, such as Cisco, Juniper, etc.
  • 3-5 years in an international company specializing in telecommunications or data communications, in service managerial oriented positions, field experience.
  • English - mandatory.
  • Chinese (Mandarin) - mandatory.
  • This position requires intensive trips over APAC.
