Customer Support Engineer - Uruguay

Job Description:
  • Perform on site support, field trials, management application support, equipment installation and commissioning, operation of Alvarion equipment in conjunction with other networking equipment.
  • Provide technical and post-sales training on Alvarion equipment and relevant technologies to Alvarion customers and distributors.
  • Manage and accompany local operator’s teams in Alvarion’s projects within the region of Latin America.
  • Willingness to travel frequently-mandatory
Required Skills:
  • Experience with radio technologies systems; deployment of cellular or wireless local loop systems.
  • Experience with radio system installations (Perform site auditing, Towers climbing etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of IP and VoIP protocols, switches routers.
  • Knowledge of other communication protocols- (E1, FR, V5, ATM) – Advantage.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in data communications or electronics.
Previous work experience:
  • 1-3 years in an international company specializing in telecommunications or data communications, in service oriented positions, field experience.
Languages:
  • Spanish –Mother tongue
  • High-level English -Advantage
